The KHS drumline has had the determination to bring them far in the past. Check out some of our past accomplishments.

October 26, 1997:  Our drumline won best percussion at the Puget Sound Festival of Bands, Everett (Everett Memorial Stadium). This was a great feat as we were on of the smaller schools in the area. However, our tight bass licks and line continuity helped us secure first place.

October 3rd, 1998:  KeHS and Pasco HS Marching Bands  hosted the 17th Annual Cavalcade of Bands with two dozen excellent Northwest Marching Bands participating. Our Drumline came in second against much bigger schools, and several that are 10-12 only (We are 9-12).

October 10th, 1998:  Found us in Spokane, Washington for the Lilac Festival Marching Band Competition. Again our line came in 2nd; BUT only .2 of a point behind the biggie: Central Valley!

October 28, 2000:  Puget Sound Festival of Bands (Everett, WA) Our drumline pulled through again and commanded the competition in  both prelims and finals capturing best percussion in both. We were the only line (out of 9) in both prelims and finals to score above 80!  All of the bands were AAA class and we were just AA!

October 27, 2001:  Puget Sound Festival of Bands (Everett, WA) Our drumline won best percussion while our marching band swept all awards in our class to place first.

January 1, 2002:  Our drumline navigated the six mile length of the Tournament of Roses Parade easily and with style. It was an honor to play in front of millions of people and to be a part of the great history of Kennewick High.

October 19, 2002:  Harvest Festival (Yakima, WA) The line played two outsatnding shows, however the competition had the edge. We placed 3rd in both prelims and finals.

October 26, 2002:  By far the most challenging and competitive competition we have been in thus far. Despite the cold, our line was able to place in the top 5 in both prelims and finals.

Post Season 2002:  Our line begins extensive chop building. This was the first step toward a competitive winter line and future drum caption awards.
